Gotta-Go Golf Destinations For 2020

A Look At Some Favorites, Near And Far

Now that we’ve chewed our way through Thanksgiving, it’s time to get cooking on what golf destinations we’ll feast on in 2020.

After all, if there’s one pursuit that merits extra calendar carve-out time and effort, it’s golf.

Does anyone disagree? Didn’t think so. That’s why you’re here, right?

Problem is, stuff happens, life unspools in unexpected directions, and just like that we’re halfway through next year with a serious deficit of quality golf time staring us down like a disappointed parent, tapping one foot and wondering where we’ve been all these weeks and months.

But 2020 will be different. We’re gonna get out there and get to the places we’ve always wanted to tee it up, or get back there after too long away, or discover spots we’ve perhaps never heard of.

You’ve come to the right place. After more than 20 years of writing about golf destinations, the following either cross my mind and heart most often or have me all geeked up after experiencing them in the very recent past. One is close to home — heck, it is home. Some I’ll write about in more detail, both in the magazine and in this space, as the first year of the new decade unfurls.

Knock a few of these out. You won’t be disappointed.
