As the Major League Baseball season approaches and Spring Training gets rolling in Florida and Arizona, it’s the perfect time to revisit the Diamond Resorts TOC, a reborn LPGA Tournament of Champions event that also welcomed celebrities to the field. Athletes and performers, including a slew of MLB Hall of Famers and MVPs, competed in their own Modified Stableford tournament alongside LPGA winners from the past two years, whose stroke play tournament included a $1.2 million purse. Eun-Hee Ji won the pro side, and Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz won the celebrity event.
