By Car
U.S. Highways 17 and 501, and S.C. Highways 9 and 544 provide direct access to the Myrtle Beach area. S.C. 22 provides east access from U.S. 501 (west of Conway) to U.S. 17 Business (King’s Highway) at the north end of Myrtle Beach. Interstate travelers use I-95 or I-20 to arrive at the Grand Strand.

Myrtle Beach International Airport services the area, and is located on the southern tip of Myrtle Beach. Airlines servicing the airport include AirTran, ASA/Delta/Comair, Continental, Spirit and US Airways.  

      

 
When To Go  

Myrtle Beach is a year-round destination, with the most precipitation occurring during the summer months. If you don’t mind the cooler weather, there are some good deals to be had in the winter.

World Amateur Handicap Championship
Itching for some serious amateur golf competition? The World Amateur Handicap Championship is as serious as it gets. Dubbed the “Mother of All Golf Tournaments,” the WAHC attracts almost 4,000 amateur players from all 50 states and more than 30 foreign nations for lots of fun, friendship and, most importantly, great golf excitement.
