Attracting the LPGAs top players, including Annika Sorenstam and Lorena Ochoa, the Ginn has quickly become one of the Tours most prestigious tournaments, in part because of its large purse and venue. The 2008 Ginn Open boasted the third largest purse on the LPGA Tour at $2.6 million. Disney World is just 15 minutes away in nearby Orlando. Hammock Beach, Ginns sister resort, is located a little over 100 miles away and features a Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson course.
