The most significant advance in shaft design is material technology, and we feel the Fujikura Rombax is the most technologically advanced shaft in the market today. It consists of our Tour proven Triax material, which has been utilized for many years in Speeder shafts, combined with a braided box weave material. Together they form Rombax technology, which works extremely well with the new oversized driver heads that have been introduced to the marketplace. Rombax technology helps to stabilize the larger clubheads by reducing ovaling of the shaft at impact, which makes it easier to deliver the clubhead to the ball in a square position. The recreational golfer has a tougher time hitting the center of the clubface compared to a Tour player, so any shaft technology that will help the player to square the club at impact is a big advantage in regard to distance.
If you’re serious about finding the best shaft for your swing, don't choose a shaft from a catalog because you like the color or because you read an advertisement about a Tour player who’s getting paid to use it. All golfers should get fit by a custom fitter who uses a launch monitor to determine launch angle, spin rate and ball speed. With this data, and by evaluating the players’ attack angle, swing profile and load profile, a custom fitter can recommend a shaft that will optimize performance with any given clubhead. Fujikura has over 750 Charter Dealers throughout the United States and all of these dealers are certified custom fitters. Our dealers can fit any player with the best shaft for his or her swing for optimum performance. You can find a Fujikura Charter Dealer in your area by visiting our Website
