Nickents breakthrough cylindrical design is now offered on two new blade-style heads.
Features: The PIPE (PP/005 pictured) features a white cylindrical pipe
that extends behind the face to facilitate a square setup by helping
golfers better determine face alignment at address.
Advantages: A rear tungsten weight plug increases MOI, while the
polymer face insert helps distribute weight toward the heel and toe.
The polymer face also is designed to reduce backspin and excessive
skidding.
What We Like: The two new blades elicit a better feel and are as easy to align as the originals.

Multi-density materials and eye-catching shape have helped make the Black OZ putters some of the most talked about this season.
Features: Each of the three models (Black OZ T100 pictured) are all
about stroke improvement, with aluminum bodies paired with tungsten
plugs to move weight away from the clubface for reduced skidding.
Advantages: Theyre weighted to forgive, and the face-balancing helps.
The soft polymer insert is even lighter than the aluminum used for the
body, further enhancing the perimeter weighting.
What We Like: The shape is round, but the design adds up to a squarer face at impact.

Odyssey Dual Force 2 Series

Dual Force putters were some of the most popular of the past 15 years. In 2006, welcome back an old friend.
Features: The original DFs never had a ton of technology in their
favor, just a great number of shapes that were pleasing to the eye and,
of course, the little insert that started the craze, Stronomic. With
the DF2s (#2 pictured), the designs remain, but the Stronomic is a
little firmer and larger, aiding perimeter weighting.
Advantages: Pure, uncomplicated performance and a feel better than the original.

From a small workshop outside Los Angeles comes an extremely well-made
putter that has everything that defines a modern flatstick, including a
shape thats part function, part art.
Features: When talking about Pinfire products, you start with the
aerospace-grade materials and precise milling. Then you discuss the
shape that, without the addition of any plugs or inserts, achieves the
rear CG and high MOI that results in a quicker forward roll.
Advantages: Its easy to use and the all-aluminum feel is soft yet
firm. The all-milled head is available in four colors (silver shown).
What We Like: The alignment aids. Three perpendicular and parallel

Odyssey White Steel SRT Series

Fresh after the success of the White Hot and DFX Stronomic versions of
the 2-Ball putters, Odyssey unfolded yet another iteration: the White
Steel 2-Ball. In 2006, not only does the company unveil a new White
Steel version of the 2-Ball, but also a third disk in the new White
Steel SRT Tri-Ball (pictured).
Features: The SRT in the updated White Steel line stands for Saturn
Ring Technology, which describes the putters buttress mechanism. The
rings are made from a high-density alloy that, when combined with the
lightweight aluminum body, ratchet up the MOI for a supremely stable
flatstick.
Advantages: All youd expect from a high-MOI putter, plus a lot more.
What We Like: Were big fans of the White Steel face (a milled steel
insert is placed over a urethane putterface). Its flat, consistent and
full of feel.

The Brass Classic putters make good use of one of the putter categorys
legendary metals to create old-school feel with new-school shapes and
performance benefits.
Features: All-brass, 100% milled construction for very sharp lines and
a unique look. The four Brass Classic putters (FireBird shown) employ
Q-Rolls patented Radius Face design (negative loft, in a nutshell),
which ensures that contact is made above the equator of the golf ball.
Advantages: With contact made above the equator, backspin or skid is virtually eliminated. Expect a true end-over-end roll.
